Am I the first kid on the block to have the floor of his X250 Cab split? It's developed a split between the Cab and Habitation unit where you walk between the two Cab seats. Near the join between Cab and rear.

Neither of us are particularly heavy nor wear stilletos Smile

Not noticed a split, but mine does seem very very spongy under-foot. Not sure if thats normal.

Yes - mine is too Colin, but no problem that I'm aware of. Confused

Just off to have a look now you have mentioned it. Shocked Shocked

Very relieved to hear you don't wear stilletos by the way. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Strewth Colin, mine is split too - and you had me defecating housebricks there for a moment!! Shocked Shocked

Fortunately it's only cosmetic. It's just the plastic matting that covers the spongy stuff underneath, and is barely visible without removing the carpets. Don't think it will keep me awake at night! Very Happy

Still shouldn't happen so soon though should it. Evil or Very Mad

And just in case you are wondering, I too remove my high heels in the van. Laughing Laughing

Dave/Zeb....

Is it really cosmetic or is it an integral part of the floor?

I noticed this because I could here a 'crack' one day as I went into the rear. Then it happened again. After the last trip I took up the carpets to give the van a good clean out and noticed the split. It's very noticeable in my case.
