It looks as though those of us that have still to go on holiday to France and the rest of Europe this month and next may have some relief after all. I note today that fuel prices are dropping and the pound is strengthening against the Euro. It isn't much I grant you but as a well known supermarket says - every little helps Smile

Auchan fuel prices down 2 cents, Pound up so far today approx 2p - if it continues or even remains static it will save a few pounds over the trip..

Hi Dave,

Morrisons dropped on Monday to 127.9 yet our local BP is still at 133.9 - time will tell. I only hope that the price drop continues as the barrel price has dropped a fair bit of late

G'day,
ref the 'Every little helps' thing.
I saw one of their fuel tankers the other day and somebody had crossed out the first letter (e) and the last letter (s).
Making it 'very little help'.
Apt I thought.
Best , harryA.

A quick glance on the BBC website shows oil at about 126 USD per barrel and the Euro rate at 1.2714, so as you see, maybe going slightly in our favour.
