We are just about to buy a Smart car to tow behind the MH on an A frame. I understand from our car insurers (Direct Line) they will only cover the Smart third party when being towed.

Does anybody know whether we can get fully comprehensive on the Smart when towing it.

Hi Jan

We use Comfort Insurance for our motorhome and we also insure the Smart car with them and they cover the Smart (fully comp) both when it is and isn't being towed.

Hope you and Barry are both ok and enjoying your travels?

All the best.

Sue

PS How's your fridge light?

Hi

Be sure you really check the terms and conditions of the policy, irrespective of what you may be told on the telephone.
