Can someone please tell me the gross vehicle weight of a Fiat 18 chassis.
Is the Fiat Maxi chassis the same as the 18?

Hi Peedee,

the Q 18 ( Q=Quintale=100 kg ) chassis has also the name " maxi "
Max. loading is 3.85t. with complementery air suspension 4.t, the same for the ALKO chassis, the difference that ALKO can be loaded till 5t. with double rear axle.
The 18Q chassis has stonger brakes and springs, also ABS and ASR serial ( in Germany since 3 years obligation.)
Also the 18 Q as the " short " 5th gearwheels.
The wheels of Q18 have a size of 16´´
