Hi, thought I would bring this little gem to the forums it's an adapter used for filling LPG bottles,... RED PROPANE ONLY not blue Calor, use it at the pumps when you have run out of gas, the guy also sells all the different attachments for Euroland.
It's important that the bottle is completely empty before filling due to the 80% fill requirement (read the advert) he also sells an adapter which converts a French gas bottle to be used on our regulator pigtails.

At today's current refill prices, it should pay for itself in no time, a lot cheaper than gaslow systems too!

Interesting that he says the bottles should be open when filling, yet Gaslow advise the cylinders should be closed when filling.

I like the idea, and who wouldn't. However it's the practice that scares the hell out of me. I'd be interested to know what a qualified gas engineer made of them.

I've seen one, I'm not a gas engineer, but I can recognise a quality made bit of kit!
I used to run a Vectra dual fuel car, the fitting where the pump nozzle attaches, is exactly the same on the adapter, all solid brass too

Filling the thing would in theory be no different to filling a Gaslow. Only difference is the LPG flows through a pipe to get to the cylinder with the Gaslow rather than direct to the cylinder from the LPG gun.

Hi,
This little gem has caused some heated exchanges on some forums.

If you look at the image on the guys ad, the threaded part is where the pigtail would normally attach, if the bottle top screw was in the closed position, then no gas would flow through
