When Outdoorbits, Johns Cross Motorhomes and Halfords start selling these adaptors I will stop criticising them.
The first guy who was selling them on Ebay has vanished!

Hi Pipin,no offence taken or meant but I have read all your comments, and quite what a 30,000 ton tanker has to do with a 4 kg gas bottle and a motor home is beyond me.The only constructive comment I see was you saying Hear Hear to the comment that it is illegal, but then again it is not & you are wrong on this ,so is this constructive.
I believe that the people who dispense gas have made it as safe as possible for us mere mortals to do so provided we use COMMON SENSE.
BTW I have C&P all your comment to word/spelling & grammar and it has come up with no fewer than 10 typos Laughing
Laughing You said- I was alluding to the absolute accuracy that is required when using one of these adaptors.
Make one mistake during the process and - poof!
The same can be said about filling your car with petrol let alone LPG.This is probably why years ago you had the attendant disperse your fuel until we learned to do it yourself Laughing
terry Laughing Laughing
Spykal yes indeed the red bit on the back is a safty valve and I too do not want to be near it if it ever goes off ,but better that than a cylinder going off.

Mad die you might as well drop it since there are obviously 2 camps here - one lot who will use them and one lot who won't.

No because heating oil (kerosene) is much cheaper, I have 1300 ltr tank 2m from my back door, treat it with respect, and it is safe.
