Hey autostrados,
i'am using the gamin Quest, now about 10.000 km, purchsed for about 550 €.
werry credible, it is a nice pice of technic and it is waterproof!

Lap top & all the bumf you need should be no more than £800 at a guess.
Mine plays DVDs CD & all I need is the GPS unit & I'm away.
Let you know when I've done it.

Hi folks
All you need is a laptop, a copy of Autoroute 2003 -04-05 and a USB - GPS mouse. It works brilliant. I used mine last year all over France but I dropped the laptop and broke the screen, so looking for spares now. Have now built and fixed a permanent 12 volt computer.
The USB GPS mouse can be bought from Ebay or I have one of these.
