:Hi everyone.
We have just signed up having seen the comments on the website whilst researching recent purchases for our van. Its so good to see objective brief assessments of topics and items we're interested in.
So by way of sharing info, we are Alan and Sue Fairbrother from the Peak District. We imported our Hymer B584 new two and a half years ago as our first motorhome (though we had hired them previously). We seem to have travelled extensively over the last two years both in UK as well as abroad in France Spain and Portugal but around every corner there seems to be so much more to see that this hobby is going to last and last.

We take our old Italian Spinone dog with us everywhere. He's much too big for the van really but there's no way he'll be left behind.
Happy to share info on any of this and future discussions.)

Alan and Sue,
greetings from your new extended family, you may have to forget about motorhoming for a while though as you become addicted to this forum,
Regards,
Norman

Hi alanf and welcome, good decision to join up, quite a few Hymerholics on here, the rest of us can't afford one!

Great area you live in; good day out for us is head down to Bakewell for lunch (good mh parking near cattle market) walk around a bit (really good town for exploring) then tour slowly back vaguely towards the M6 - well always find a new route and see something new.

Happy travels

Hi Alan and Sue,
Welcome to the site, a really good community to be involved with. We are just outside Derby and got out motorhome this only this year and love it also.

Best wishes

Andy and Ruth
