Hello everyone,

Thanks for allowing me to become a member of this great site. I've just found it and there seems a lot of info. which will be appreciated.

I will browse around before asking any questions so as not to plug up the site with repeat stuff.

I don't own a motorhome but lived in a caravan for the first few years of my life during the late 60s, early 70s and would like to live in one again, full time. My wife and I did have a couple of caravans just after we got married and before we had children, a 10' thing for two and then a hard top fold down thing which was brilliant. We lived in Heidelburg, Germany at that time and it was beautiful there living close to the Black Forest and going out in the small caravans was great especially after doing a lot of sleeping in the car 'camping', you know, aching back, no toilet/shower, cold etc.!

I have been seriously considering a boat but circumstances I think would suit a motorhome better.

Bye for now.

Welcome to th site simplelife.

There is a lot of useful info on this site. If you have the travelling bug then a motorhome is a very good way of seeing europe or even further. Smile

Thanks zulurita and Angie. I'm overwhelmed by all the info. My heads buzzing with lots of questions, I know all the answers are out there in cyberspace..... it's like being a child again on Christmas eve!

Zulurita, what is that motorhome that appears on your avatar? How many feet long is it? Could one live in such a motorhome full time?
