Am I daft ? Just got Avtex tv freeview etc. Cant see how to get freeview, do I need a digi box? Embarassed
I feel pretty stupid to have to ask, but if you dont ask you dont get.

Assuming it is a dual tuner i.e. digital and analogue, then no , you don't need a digibox. If it receives both analogue and digital, there will probably be a button on the remote to switch between the two - make sure you are toggled onto digital (it'll probably say TV/DTV, or something like that. Also,m make sure in the installation menu that it has actually found your digital channels. Are you at home, and do you get a good digital signal in your area?

Haven't got one of these - but somebody who has will be along shortly, I'm sure

Thanks Rick. The standard of reception at home is very poor on ITV and Five but okay otherwise. I am quite thick with tv and computers and I am trying to navigate my way around this forum.Tony

Press the SOURCE button on the remote and a box comes up on the screen. Use the arrows on the remote to move the highlight bar down or up to digital and you should be ok - assuming you have connedted the aerial correctly.
