Just back from the NEC. Went to look at Tracker systems really and found just three companies exhibiting. We are still weighing up the pro's and con's.
On the Van front the most exiting thing I found was hiding in a Concorde boot. A model Bentley motor car absolute bute in british racing green or maroon.
Quite like the Timberland range and think that Triango Tribute have improved somewhat. Nothing inspired us enough to do an investment check.
We thought the show was very quiet and some of the exhibitors were voicing similar sentiments.
Just back from NEC nice looking at the new models, but it does seem as if the prices have shot up, or maybe thats just my impression.
On a side note if you think you have any problems with the new Fiat gearbox, go to the Fiat stand and speak to someone, and they will take your details and log them with Fiat. So the more people who do it maybe they will then take notice and do something.
Show in new format (not in usual halls) bit spread out.
Lots to see, new models, and revamped existing models.
Can confirm that Fiat will take you name and contact details, BUT, I am not sure they were listening. All the "new" vehicles on display had the same old problem No seal between the windscreen and scuttle, those that I saw had covers over the engine. I am assured that the area beneath the scuttle has been galvanised so no fear of rust! we'll wait and see. I did suggest that they read the posts re Fiat on this forum but again not sure a lot of notice was taken, pity!
Brownhills and Hymer, in attendance a visitor from space would never know that there had been a problem. Big Tom seemed very busy, and the troops were keen to talk.
More people there than I expected all the accessory companies very busy after lunch lots of goodies making their way to new homes at closing time.
Gripe of the day. Our dear friends from the Caravan Club, arrived at 8.30
am to be told not taking people t'll 11am! I asked if there was anyone on "my" pitch "no" so what's the problem, "well to morrow there might be " but this is to day "well you tell me how you would do it better"
not the best of welcomes!
Is the Show worth a visit Yes, forget financial gloom come and enjoy!
