It could be that the dish was already pointing at the satellite and didn't need to move. This has happened to me and it can be disconcerting.

Did you check for a signal at the receiver?

Andy, unless I've missed something, I've always found it necessary to switch off the Camos controller then back on again, for it to seek another satellite. So, even if it were already locked on to the first one, as soon as I switched the controller off then on, then selected one of the other satellites, the search should have begun. But, there was nowt. The controller lights were on, but no attempt was made to seek any of the selected satellites. I assumed something was knackered, but all was well the next morning.
