Well in Perfect English. A lot of people say it in this country:lol: Me being the first. Bob.
Yes indeed, East Anglia - Netherlands are the same piece of land, aren't they.
We've had two full holidays in the Netherlands, 1992 I was doing some business there so decided to have 2 weeks touring. Apart from Amsterdam and Valkenberg the lasting impression is flat and boring.
Then we hired a boat in the north and did the rivers for a week, this confirmed flat and boring and added wet.
So for people who like flat and boring and wet it's heaven.
Amsterdam is flat but not boring of course, though I've not been there for 10 years.
Thanks for replies so far. We always have a week in January. Last year it was Orkney. Usually scotland but this year thought we would try something different.
Cold is no problem. And flat boring landscapes have a strange interest as we live in the peak disrict. We'll only be in zeeland for a few days so it will be too new to be too boring.
Does anyone have any wild camping experience they could share?
For those of you that are saying that my country is boring...................
Members of the jury, I refer you to exhibit A. This is a time lapse satellite view of Scotland taken over the summer. Note how many cars are from the Netherlands and look at their owners awestruck by the hills.
Next I display exhibit B. This is a time lapse satellite view of Italy taken in the summer. Note how many cars, cars with caravans and motohomes are from the Netherlands. Look at their owners awestruck by warm sunshine.
