Hi

Why is a larger dish harder to set up? (Other than weight etc)

Thank you all for your advice. Hubby has managed to get a signal, all be it not with the variety we get from the Oyster system, he says tomorrow will be fine tuning day - oh joy! Rolling Eyes

Ps He says it´s not this fault the right bit of sky keeps moving!

If you are getting Astra 1 at 19deg then you must be pretty OK with the inclination so just turn it very slowly towards east keeping the sounder loud on the maplin box. skew the LNB 20 to the hour first then if you stiill have no astra 2. go back to 19deg so you have a starting point then try to guess another 9 deg towards east when you think you have it there try scanning for channels at this setting. you may find that the system will find some channels for you then you need only delicately fine tune to improve . I used to scan regularly with the Lidl /Maplin box there is nothing to be lost. I have left Peniscola now or I could have done it for you Smile
