I`ve got an 85cm oyster, and I lower it when picture starts to break up as in above posts.I always fold it away before we go to bed as well.Well if ithe wind gets up in the night, the last thing I want to be doing is worrying about the dish and putting it away at some godly hour. Smile

I read on the Ten Haaft web site sales literature that the Oyster was good up to 50mph. I wouldn't leave ours up in 50mph wind though and like most I always retract at night before we turn in as well as retracting the awning - just in case.

i have an autosat of the same size. it blew down last year when i was in cornwall, in very strong winds. fortunately, it turned out that a bolt had come loose due to the vibration, and no permanant damage was done. however, the lnb got twisted out of position, and i could not get a proper signal until it was reset.

lucky me!

If wind worries you, it may be worth looking at a domed system?

But then I would worry about the height !
