With a bit more care during scanning and some time in front of the computer you can improve things in just a few minutes.

It's a serious problem.

We have a load of slides over a hundred years old, good as new. On glass Smile
They will probably outlast all the digital ones.

Nearly bought a scanner til I read on aphoto forum that if you have a projector just put your digi camera on a tripod and click away at the projected image,worked fine for me.
