We are swapping our huge Elddis for a smaller Adria Twin conversion.
The Elddis had an oven, grill and three gas rings.
The conversion has just two rings, no oven or grill.
How do I get toast!!!!!
Scrambled egg would not be the same.

Hi Roger

You can get folding mesh-type-racky things to do toast on a hob. Found in most camping shops. Dave bought us ours Smile

Sure someone knows the real name for them..

Hello Roger

Strangley its called a folding toaster. Ours will do one slice at a time. There is one a bit like a pryamid which does sveral. We had one in camping days & never liked it. I have seen a slightly larger & a better one in the Narrbonne accessoires catalogue but never actually seen one.

We bought one of the pyramid types that's supposed to do four slices. Total waste of time - on our hob anyway. All it produces after ten minutes is four slices of very hard, curly, white bread. The boss is very fond of her toast for breakfast so if anyone can recommend a really effective hob toaster I might get her one for Christmas!

Hi gaspode,

We have tried loads of different ones and binned them all,the one i've recommended above really does do the job,it is sold at the shows by the skillet lady,i missed my toast too.

Seems like you know how to keep a woman happy too,i'd love to open that on Christmas morning Shocked

Following advice to avoid the pyramid type, I did a search and came up with this one.

Does this seem the thing?
