Hi
does anyone use one of these in their van? I'm not sure (and can't seem to find out online) how much wattage they use but can't think it can be very high.

Might get one anyway for at home and then see if its worth taking for hook-up times Smile Don't like frying in this van as there are no guards to stop windows, furnishing _every********thing_ getting splashed with fat (and why does it always spit just as you take that "splatter guard" thing off to turn the food over?! Evil or Very Mad )
Smile

Hi H,
I've got a big one (boasting again) at home and I have just checked and it is 1400w max. We are very pleased with it.
If you say that is 6 amps it should work on a hook-up or large inverter.
I imagine the smaller one would be less anyway.

The one thing I dont like about these forman grills id the seperate tray to catch the fat. Forget to put it in place or not quite place it correctly or worse still it fills up & you dont notice it then you have a wicked mess to clean up.

thanks Bill, I've found out that the small one is 700w so I'll go for it and motorhomer, thanks for the reminder about the tray - I'll take care!
