Hi Grizzly. No you are not wrong, that is exactly what I mean. My befuddled state post, was referring to Dave`s line of abbreviations of which I could only decipher half. With access to the list compiled by S&J, (who have my gratitude for clearing the mist from my mind) things will be clearer fron here-on in.

Hi , must add that I do not understand why we need the use of so many abbreviations, is it that we are in such a hurry to do something else. I always thought that the purpose of all communication is to convey our intentions/ information etc. so they can be fully understood by the recipient.

There are so many different interpretations anyway, its bound to fox us all at some point. Dare I suggest we ease up a little.

Feeling a bit cheeky as its TFB.

Barrie.

Thirteen FAQ articles have now been posted in the new section of the website and many, many thanks to those who have done them or who have volunteered to write them. There are lots more currently being written here:

http://www.motorhomefacts.com/forum-179.html

These articles are ready for you to read and reply with comments and suggestions for additions. When the original author has finished titivating them up they will be posted in the Motorhomes Tutorial section of the site. This FAQs section is not really intended for general discussions but rather for specific suggestions about and criticism of the original post.

There are lots more subjects which have been suggested and the list is

http://www.motorhomefacts.com/ftopic-61447.html

Please choose one or two and let me know – via PM. Those with a star * beside them are already spoken for. If there are other topics you'd like to see covered then let me know and I'll add them.

You can write them in Word and, if you are not happy about posting them in the forum (where things like underlining and italics and different fonts won't transfer from Word), then please ask me and it will be done.
The same applies to photos. Do put them in but, if you can't upload them then either refer to the excellent websites tutorial section or ask.

PLEASE get reviewing and / or writing. We're not asking for anything fancy; just the sort of answer you would give on the forum anyway.

Earlier I made the suggestion that we compile a series of short articles covering all the FAQs asked on MHF. It will save so much duplication of effort and posts on the site.

Here is the list of topics suggested so far. All additions to the list are welcome

A very good idea Grizzly and at a good time for me being a new newbie to it all and having a few too many problems of this kind myself.
