Guys,

Not sure if this is of interest or not. Just thought I would share the results of my most recent photographic investment, a Calumet "Background Support" and roll of Background Paper.

Products:
http://www.calumetphoto.co.uk/item/MF6090/
and
http://www.calumetphoto.co.uk/item/CS2793/ (I will replace with Vinyl when in stock).

Also, if you have a flashgun which can be "aimed", then use it too. Will be more effective than a face fronting normal flash.

The results:

1

2

3

4

5

6

In short....

- Manual Mode
- F8
- Wide ish angle lens
- Point flash gun at ceiling
- 250th of a second (Adjust Flash Power to choose preferred level of brightness)
- Focus on EYES of closest subject to camera

Looking forward to taking more!

Gary.

Yep, early days but we love it and expect to be doing a lot of travelling this year.

Are you still doing your European trip anytime now?

Neil

I want to, for sure - however, Claire is restricted RE holidays due to work. I really don't want to do it without her. Concentrating on Scotland at the moment, but I hope at some point in the next 12 months to at least get a week or two in Spain or Morocco. I have taken 5 weeks off already, and have another 7 booked. I am trying not to take the **** too much!! Very Happy

Gary.

Ha I wish,

Retirement plans put on hold until the "crunch" eases! I wanted to own my house outright before the age of 30, not gonna happen...

Ach well, work on! Smile
