Is there any way the search facility for campsites / Aires can be tweaked to search on I.D. numbers ? rather than only place names ?
[obviously for subscribers only]

For example :- La Motte Camping (ID:3611)
La Motte, Le Fouilloux,nr Montguyon , Region: Poitou-Charentes

Hi Vic

You can use the following link:

http://www.motorhomefacts.com/modules.php?name=Campsites&op=display_results&csid=3611 = "La Motte"

but just change the last number for the ID that you want.

e.g.
http://www.motorhomefacts.com/modules.php?name=Campsites&op=display_results&csid=3612 = "Hermanville"

Not quite what I want . .
I wanted to be able to just search ALL the database using just
I.D. xxxx to bring them up.
[I originally wanted & asked if my 'own' virtual campsite database/list could be downloaded - but it seems the answer is no, only able to print them off]

Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed Red Face - opps, I see that I CAN search by I.D. have now slapped own wrist !

Do the I.D's numbering system reflect the country ? [for example
I.D 100* for [lets say Italy] 200* [for example Spain] 300* for France etc ?

Hi Vic

There is a search field for ID number at the bottom of the search page (or at least there is on my screen). Rolling Eyes

I make that point because I'm looking at an admin view, not a normal members view so yours may be slightly different. Can you have a look and report back?

Hi Vic

I don't really understand. Do you want to be able to print off / view the whole of the campsite database, all at once?

Gerald

No, just to be able to 'wander' through the database for a given country & view the details for each site/Aire by I.D

Okaaay Confused

So if you go to the campsite search page:

http://www.motorhomefacts.com/modules.php?name=Campsites&op=search

and select "France" in the country drop-down list, you get all 907 French campsite entries listed. If you want to know the site ID, hover over the site name and you can see the ID number in your browser status window.

Of have I misunderstood again? Embarassed

Hi Vic

how about using the Campsite Interactive Map << for your virtual walk?

Just follow the link above and select the country you wish to walk through... click on any site that interests you and view it in a new tab or window.
