We are setting off early April to go to Italy. Having returned from Lake Garda via the Simplon Pass and then around the North shore of Lake Geneva last September we are considering going back that way to appreciate the beauty of the area in a different season.
We have no knowledge of potential road conditions at this time (april) of the year. has anyone done a similar journey and can advise?
Thank you.
(We have no snow chains and no winter tyres and do not wish to invest in same.)
