Recently purchased by credit card, and from an Internet company, a re-radiating antenna for my Tomtom Go 300, when it arrived it was for the old Tomtom Classic, so returned it to said company and asked for a refund (49.99)
This purchase was at the beginning of May, it is now the 10th of June and I am still fighting to get my refund, have tried to contact them by phone, fax, and on there internet site with no success, have decided to try Trading Standards, hope this will work, the company by the way is R.A.I Technologies, or
www.navcity.co.uk , so buyer beware.

Contact the credit card company explain what has happened and you may find that they will refund your money and charge the suppliers.
It has happened to me with Dabs (computer stuff), it was hard for me to contact the company because they only except e-mail, which they did not respond to, and don't advertise a telephone number.
Hope you get a refund.

Hi Trevor, Thanks for your input, it`s something which had`nt come to mind, but have contacted the bank and am awaiting a reply to my query.
Did try trading standards office, seems you are unable to contact the one in the vicinity of the firm you purchased from, you have to go through your local office, seems daft to me, but there you go.
Hopefully get things sorted in the end, but it is a bind when companies treat the customer like this, thanks anyway.

Hi everyone, Just an update to my previous mail concerning the belated refund from the internet company.
Have eventually managed to get my money refunded, but not without quite a bit of hassle on my part, and some threats of using Trading Standards/Small Claims Court, to try and make this company see that I meant business, and would not be fobbed off.
Seems my ploy worked, the company have refunded my monies back to the credit card account, so I am highly satisfied, but it should never have had to come to this in the first place if the company had conducted its business correctly, its a sad fact of our times when thre customer has to resort to these methods to claim there money back for returned goods.
