does anyone know of a way to get short term break down cover for europe?

RAC want a whole years cover but we only have a fortnight this time Crying or Very sad

any help or tips appreciated. We've been told that there is a place at a ferry terminal where you can buy cover on a per day basis, anyone heard of this?

The Caravan Club do excellent travel cover, I use them every time I go to europe.
