Can anyone recommend a tft tv that would double as a pc monitor and be able to connect to a sky digibox. Just clicked on the sponsored ad at the top of the homepage, they look quite good !

Very Happy Hi again TheOggies. I have a 15" LCD and 17" Wide Screen LCD. They are both PC/TV/Video/Satellite compatable and are Multi-standard to boot. I will not bother to recommend any particluar make. They all work whatever the make or cost. Just my opinion. Rolling Eyes Wink

Hi Oggies
Like the previous respondents we also have LCD TV's that are compatible with satelite/PC/TV/Video

WE have two 14" one for home & the other in the van
One came from Currys the other from Comet, They take approx 0.5A from the mainOne has an external power supply, which gives out 12V. So if we could find a suitable plug for the input we could run off the leisure battey

However from previous posts on TV's (before the crash) it is not reccomended to run TV's off the 12v battery - people have had problems with the TV stopping working after one or two hours - Due to the TV requiring no less than 11V

We always run ours off mains

Try buying one that the resolution exceeds 800x600, There are some about that are only that, it's ok for TV, but not IMO good for a computer monitor.
