Brilliant little new model Matsui TV from Currys. 16" screen, HD Ready, although no benefit in screen so small. HDMI, Scart, Component input. SD card reader, USB input, CI slot. Digital and Analogue receivers.
This TV runs on 12Volt, although it uses a 4pin input. However, even on 240V mains it only runs at a maximum 28.6 Watts so no issues with an Inverter.
The picture quality is good. Excellent horizontal viewing angle, vertical viewing angle not brilliant. Benefit of a 16" LCD, it is very difficult to make a bad one.
Saw this the other day - and as far as I could see it doesn't have the vesa-compatible fittings on the back, so attaching it to a bracket could be tricky - otherwise I thought it looked great. You'd probably still need a regulator to be on the safe side though. I've been looking for a while now - struggling on with an old sony tube telly, which is fine on hookup. I still think I'd go for the Meos one at the moment, but I'm keeping looking in the meantime!
Could you measure it up and post the precise external dimensions please?
It sounds like a good deal, but our TV cupboard is not very big and I'm a bit concerned if it will fit. (Thickness is not an issue, but an indication would be useful.)

Also, we have checked the wiring diagram and although there are 4 pins into the TV, they are 2 x 12V pos and 2 x Neg. However, when they are on the main board the connections are joined so there is no reason why the cable could not be connected to a standard 12V plug.
