 losing digital programes

Hello,
i have just installed a meos flat screen tv,set it up on digital perfect reception on all channels,but when i press dvd to play a disc the dvd plays ok but on returning to tv only get analogue?have then to reset tv to first time installation which it does no problem,where am i going wrong.

Don't you have to select DTV from the drop down menu in inputs? Chasper.

yes you can do,but can also do it via the remote,still loses programe with both options,

On large screen TVs this often happens because the TV comes out of the box set to demo or Shop mode. So that is the first thing to check.
Second is to check that you have accepted any option to store channels after tuning.
Third option is to carry out a full factory reset. This will clear all past tuning and set the TV to it's original condition. Often a good method of overcoming a software glitch.
Finally, check that your aerial is making good contact.
This is all on the assumption that you have not changed location since the last tune.
