There seems to be a lot of talk in m/h and camping mags about overloading and I'm worried
i think we've just about got our m/h set up as we like it and i would hate to take everything out to weigh it
so now every time i take something new into the m/h i make myself take something out
the problem is we are a couple and a fair sized dog we walk and fish (carp) and eat and drink toooo much and watch tv
has anyone been done for overloading their m/h do the gas bottles count as before or after
we liked to take our water with us cos fisheries water car be a bit dodgy
so Ive stopped doing this and bought a filter instead (more weight)
Ive chucked out the corner triangularish cushions and put our pillows in their place
ive suggested taking less beer but John seems to think we need more and less wine !!
any helpful suggestions would be appreciated

Go to a weighbridge. Simple! Then you know exactly where you stand and can take any remedial action. It is the quickest way to stop worrying.

Install a Nature Pure filter system - they claim it will filter pond water - I use one with no probs

Yep... Load it up and get off to a weighbridge.. You might be worrying about nothing.. OR prove to be the wrong side of the law....
Without a loaded weight you just dont know where you stand..

Off, you go.. Come back and tell us how you did.. Smile

Definitely go for the weighbridge option.

There is an excellent article which you can download from here:

http://www.motorhomefacts.com/ftopic-65112.html

It tells you, among much other useful information about interpreting what the weighbridge tells you, what is counted already before you start to weigh your personal or camping items.
