Hi,

Is there any kind of adapter for the "thru the roof" holes, that would then allow me to remove the Status 530 aerial (this has the wider diameter mast) and replace this with the thinner mast (I would guess at about 5mm thinner) from my Globe sat Satellite Dish?

I have fitted one of these from scratch before but the only place that it would fit is thru the existing hole. There is no space to drill another. I bought my last one 2nd from ebay (as I have this one, im a cheapskate) and it came with a "modified fitting" from a thru the rood status aerial. But i have no idea how this was done and I cannot contact the seller of that dish.

If not it looks like im in the market for something different.

I have a satellite dish but also find it useful to use the status - I would recommend keeping it!

Hi,

Its not really an option with the Globe sat as they would both need to go over the wardrobe and there is not enough space to have the pair of them fitted.

I bought the Globe sat as in my head I was convinced it could be put thru the same fitting as the Status 530, my last one was definately modified to use the fitting that looks like this.
