i have a maxview crank up sat dish i have had it about four years with no problems and have been very pleased with it but it has for some reason gone very stiff to turn can anyone tell me if there is a cure for this problem . it makes it very hard to set up because with it being so stiff it tends to jerk instead of being smooth plus it is hard work to turn.

I would say not to use wd40, it makes nylon and some plastics swell. If anything, use silicone spray for moving plastic parts... BUT, the maxview is a sealed unit so should need no maintainance??

I've forwarded the problem to Maxview technical, as soon as I get a reply, i'll post it.
