Hello
As above (Title) my son poured icecream over the on/off button & the cooling fan resulting in a sticky button & intermittent fan the Laptop is working,but keeps turning off.... these two components need cleaning,can it be done at home with a cottonbud or something??.

If it were an old laptop then I would have a go like this.
1 REMOVE THE BATTERY

2 Hold the laptop upside down with the keyboard and buttons facing the floor. Use a shaving brush and a mug of warm water to wash around the affected keys. Then keeping the Laptop upside down lay it over something warm until the following day.

A hair dryer might be tempting but could overheat bits and it would only dry the bits you can see. So don,t.

That would be my plan.
