I don't find the flush cleans the bowl very well and have been looking for something to do the job - solution, one of those little electric (Battery) dishwashing brushes (About £4.50 in the Supermarkets) , it's great, just used it for two and a half weeks in France, kept the bowl clean and fresh . It sits in a tall plastic container with the brush head constantly soaking in disinfectant.

I found that the 'pink' additive in the flush tank of previous 'bench' toilets worked.

Electric swivelling type (fed directly from water tank) doesn't give that opportunity, but someone recommended keeping a washing up liquid bottle of diluted additive, and giving a quick squirt round the bowl every now and again.

Hi Ian

I have replied to your question in the other thread...."how long will cassette loo last?"

I like the electric dishbrush idea ....will it do teeth as well?

Mike

Only the first time out of the packet, wouldn't recommend cleaning teeth with it after that Wink

Very Happy I find the wife does a wonderful job of loo cleaning, and she is not battery powered. Have never pluged her in yet for a recharge.

Hello all! My solution - go to a petrol station, nick a handful of plastic gloves from the nearest dispenser, then use the antibacterial wipes which you can buy in any supermarket to wipe round frequently. Try it without using a glove and you may get a rash - on your hands! Red Hot Evil

Is that like the rash you get from the diesel pump at the filling station because someone's nicked all the plastic gloves.
