"How do you download a browser without a browser?"

You have a browser NOW......so you download it NOW!!!

Then save it to a memory stick or CD etc. etc......easy really!

The reason why most commercial entities do not upgrade when new operating systems are produced is because of cost.
If the old system is working OK why spend money for no reason?
They don't buy new hardware just because the 'next model' is available....do they? Wink

PS. Plenty of details including FAQs here:-
Windows 7 from Amazon.

I consider Windows 7 to be Vista SP3. They have finally done with it what should have been done with the original Vista. It is not written from the ground up and plenty has been reused from xp/Vista.

I must say the technical press for once are happy with it. In addition I can't remember MS doing such a large public Beta before nor for so long. Usually you had to have a Technet account or MSDN account to get on the Beta test.

I am looking forward to it coming out and it will be installed as a dual boot on my system along with XP.

Any reason why I should change from XP. Will my computer be better off for it in some way?

Many sites have withdrawn the offer, or put the price up....still available from here:-

Tesco still have the offer as do PC World and Dixons

No reason at all!!!!
A new thread, as apposed to an off topic question, would have got a much quicker answer
