Please help I went into Yahoo news this morning and what the papers say.
I had a virus warning from Avast.
I ran Avast and came up with three virus's which I was able to remove execpt 1 which said it was read only.
When I check what the virus is-- it is a hacker and will take my bank details when I go into Bank on Line.

Try downloading the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware, installing it and running a scan. If you have malware on your PC it will pick it up and give you the option to remove it.

I have been down loading and using malware and the virus hasnt shown up and yet it shows up with Avast.
So I dont know if im affected or not.

I have seen it reported on this forum that Mavis that having different anti-virus programs on your computer at the same time can cause problems.

I have completed another Avast after I used http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and seems OK so I will wait and see if it pops up again before I do any on-line banking so just be aware this nasty one is about.
It really hides in the system.
