hi kilcoosy and Greenie,

our main leisure battery was under the passenger seat [gel type] but we installed a 265amp AGM battery under the bed with cables of the correct amperage connecting via the floor to the controle module Razz
our other 165amp Agm is under the front bench seat connected to the solar panel and used purely for the invertor and tv Laughing

mains heating sucks, so we got gas only model as the wattege output dosent compare when you think of all those outlets- [nice and toasty in winter] .

reference dash warning light , get it to a qualified auto electrition not a motorhome dealer, or your local "renault truck dealer" not car dealer. sounds to me like a loose cable on the alternator output , as in the old days Embarassed the light used to come on in the dash board when the alternator was broke.

have you tried a cheap alternatior output teaster, but a the van is new get it to Renault for a check up but make shure the sparky looks at it as the mechanics are okay for changing "bulbs" in my opinion. Rolling Eyes

nearly time for us to be off to europe for our hols in sept Cool
