Putting these four pics up in my camera club monthly competition:
'FORCE'
Taken in the Lake District two weeks ago. I was precariously balanced within a few feet of a very powerful water fall!
'LONELY'
Also taken in the Lake District a couple of weeks ago
'BUBBLES'
Again taken in the Lake District. I was on a photographic holiday with Eleanor my 11 year old Daughter at Lakeland Photographic Holidays. John and Gail Gravett run an amazing place with fantastic tuition and incredible food. This was my second year and Eleanor's first. We are already booked to go back in the Spring next year. They also run a similar course in Tuscany twice a year but both in term time. As it will be Eleanor's first year at 'big' school I don't want to take her out, but reckon next September we may go!
'HARRY - NAH NAH'!
This is the Santago Leopard Project earlier this year. Sadly the project will have closed now due to the owner passing away last year and his Wife not being able to keep it going. Basically he kept some rare Leopards in his garden - in pens of course - and as a photographer you can get very close with the lens up against the bars to get pics. The guy running the photography day from 'Photographers On Safari' had a great rapport with Harry and got him talking to us and on this occasion poking his tongue out!
À tous mes amis du forum thankyou pour toutes vos pensées agréables et avec son amour derrière moi je lutterai contre mon conflit avec un esprit de postive et le triomphe

By the way you can see this information if you download Opanda iexif which is free. You then right click on the picture and hey presto. You may also be able to do the same with some software that is already in your computer. Right click on one of the pictures and see. If not search and download Opanda iexif, it is great at helping to see what settings another photographer has done. Having said that some pros remove the exif data!
Force was worked on using Photoshop and a Nik filter to give the old feel.
Lonely is 10 exposures all overlaid in the Nikon D700 which is why it has that dreamy feel without being over exposed. Little work in PS but will probably be cropping it later this evening before re printing.
Bubbles which will also be cropped to get rid of top area which is superfluous to the picture was taken with a Tokina 100mm macro at very close range.
Harry is just an amazing Leopard that was a joy to photograph. I decided to turn him into a B & W as I like to enter two colour and two B & W and thought he looked good. The colour image is equally good and will one day be entered into another competition.
Hope that helps, if you need any more info let me know.
Chris, you really annoy me.
Buts thats just because I am jelous and can't take photo's as good as you
I will have to get myself on that photo course in the lakes too.
Well done.
Trevor
