I have a MBPro and have bootcamp on it, the copy of windows I use is XP from another laptop I own, on the windows sticker on the underside it says 1-2 CPU... so you can install it on the mac as well as have in on a PC [or a friends?]
Bootcamp is bloody quick!

The second copy of windows you are using is not licensed, when it states '1-2 CPU'; it is refering to using the operating system on a computer with up to 2 CPUs in it, it doesn't mean you can have 2 installations of the operating system, the second installation on a mac or friends pc is illegal.

You also need to be careful with OEM versions (assuming you want to stay legal), they are designed to be provided with a full pc and are only valid for use on that pc, if you throw the pc away, you cannot use the oem disc to install the operating system on another pc, the OS dies with the hardware. there is/was a loop hole where you could buy a piece of hardware (for example a network card) and get an oem copy with it, however, even in this scenario, the hardware must be used in the pc the os is installed onto, if the hardware fails or is taken out, you cannot use the operating system any longer or on another computer. i'm not sure if this loop hole still exists.
