Would anyone know why I can't get my screensaver to use my pictures as I have on my XP. Options on Vista are Photos - made some progress with the option to use photo gallery or pictures. Photo gallery ask for a tag so all my photos in the galery I have tagged I can only choose one. In the picture option, they are filed in folders so I can only choose one folder. Why is XP so much simpler than Vista??

Not had a problem with mine, maybe depends on which version of Vista you are running, mine is home premium.

Are you trying to get it running from right place

Thanks -The Oggies, Yes I have found those three processes, just got to sort a few finer points!! Am impressed how you got the 3 pages up on your screen picture. Still thats for another time, lets say I'm winning.
Just one point you have your source as Albums,, I don;t see this as an option in the choices only Photos. Have you put all your pictures into a folder = Albums and then when you click on browse you pick that and save?

No, they are coming from the Pictures default folder. The album bit is how they are diplayed when they come up, they come up like photos from a photo album would look. It is just a theme, there are a few other themes that you can choose from too : fade, colage, glass, frame, travel etc

A lot of people slag Vista, I have got to quite like it now, don't think I would ever consider going back to XP. Don't think people give it a chance.

The wife even said she liked it the other day, nearly fell off my chair, she hates change and never stopped moaning when we first got it.

You have just jogged my brain into gear and I recall the options of how you choose to display. Thanks for your help, really appreciate anyone who gives me help in my woes with laptop. I would say I'm not bad computer literate but a lot of help from the guys and gals on MHF.

Sorry - I get a black screen and my screen saver is "An error is preventing your slide show from playing" This was what I got when I started out - then I cracked it now I'm back to square one. What with a faulty keyboard(cursor jumps back to previous point in typing. With use of my wireless keyboard it doesnit happen thus found the cause, so infuriating, it also can highlight itself and loose all my text Evil or Very Mad
