This can be done but would need cooperation from a domain administrator and he's unlikely to participate, i know i wouldn't.
The admin would have to go to your account properties in the active directory, here he can give another user (fred for example) full access to your mailbox under 'mailbox rights' on the 'exchange advanced' tab. now fred can open outlook and add your mailbox, along side his, in the folder list. if fred now sends a message without specifying who from it will go from his mailbox with his address as the return path, and appear in his sent items. if fred specifies your address as the sender it will still go from his mailbox but the return path property of the email will have your address in it, this email will also appear in his sent items but he can easily drag it to your sent items.
in outlook you can see the properties, ie message headers by right clicking on an email and then selecting 'options', in the window that opens the headers will be displayed at the bottom. however if you do this on an email you have sent, this will be blank as the headers don't exist yet, the headers are created as the email travels on route through email servers, therefore only the recipient can see them, as i say; when you send an email there are no headers.
A professional domain admin would not participate in anything underhand regarding the systems, in this role you are totally trusted, you have access to and control of everthing etc, the character of a domain admin needs to be law abiding and trustworthy.
The easiest way for somebody to send an email from your account would be to have got hold of your password and logged in as you. Any headers on the email would only show the mail to have been sent by you.
