Hi Ray

Found >> this << - it implies although it's detected automatically, you need to tell the system to format it. If you highlight the drive in DM, is there an option from the menu above to format it?

Gerald

Hi Gerald

The option to format isn't available until a partition has been created, he needs to right click on the drive and select new partition, the wizard will create the partition, assign the drive letter, and then format the drive.

Hi Guys................ Very Happy

Thank you to Gerald, Richard, Lee, Gerry, Derek for all your help. Made it... Very Happy Very Happy

Why does everything have to be so b----y complicated??

My next problem is dealing with SFR (French phone Co.). My internet and all inclusive phone went out last monday.
Since then and having to deal with an Africal call centre in French they finally decided there was a fault on the line.
So they sent me a new modem...??? The modem took all day to install as I couldn't get the free internet phone calls. More calls to Africa and it transpires they sent me the wrong modem and this one does not have the phone facility... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Now they want me to send back the wrong one and after reception will hopefully send out the correct one. But in the meantime (7 days) I'm without internet and calls again.

Ray. Evil or Very Mad
