Hi. We have a Rollerteam 700. We find the drivers seat very uncomfortable. Has anyone changed the drivers seat and put one in from another vehicle? Any advice welcome, thank you. James

Well, I don't find the seat uncomfortable but after about 200 miles I get a pain in the back of my neck. I haven't been able to figure out why yet. I presume yours has the same seats as mine, multi-adjustable all over the place. I have put it down to not finding the right combination of adjustments yet but it will be interesting to see what others say. I'm quite tall BTW at 6' 3" (& a half - mustn't forget that Laughing ).
Another question, how can you put fractions in posts, if at all:?: Question

Hi, I get pain in shoulder and back, radiating down leg. Drive other vehicles no problem, only get pain in this motorhome, so put it down to seat. Ours is not multi positional, only forward back for leg room and back reclining slightly or not. Ours is May 08 model. What model is yours? Thanks. James

You have described the passenger seat in our cab. The driver's seat has leg-room, height, seat angle and back angle adjustment. Perhaps the wrong seat was fitted at the factory.

Edit: Sorry, have just checked and both seats have the adjusters that I have described for the driver's seat. (I'm usually sat in that one.) Its an '07 Transit

Ours is an '08, Front wheel drive.
Has height adjustment front & rear, moves back & forth & backrest angle. I think it was OK early on, then I moved it & can't seem to find that original good position again. Bit of a puzzle & can't use at the moment anyway due to hernia. Crying or Very sad

i have a 08 rollerteam 700 and dont have any problems with the seat, and it adjusts up/down forward/back and it has a tilt option awell as the usual back adjuster.
it has 2 levers on the right side to tilt and move up and down the metal bar at the front to move forward and back then the little wheel on the right side of the back rest.
the only thing i would like is another arm rest on the right side Smile

Yes, that's exactly the same as ours. I'm also missing the armrest & am wondering if that maybe the problem. Can't find any obvious reason so looking for more obscure causes now.

Hi All
Having Just bought a new Globecar Trendscout on a Mk 7 Transit I also missed the arm rest so I decided to make my own.
It fits on the door pull handle it just push’s in to place.
No holes or screws used to hold it in place !! it can be removed in seconds.
I can still use the hand brake, unlock the door and pull the door closed with out any problem
If any anyone is interested PM me with your email address and I will send you more photo
very easy to make
Mike T

Hiya Mike
Its taken a long time for mE to get round to doing this armrest but think it looks great now. We bought extra thick foam square and some cream leatherette to match our upholstery.
We are really pleased with the job. Finally worked out how to get photos on here.
Thanks again and get a patent on this product quick. Very Happy
Chris
