Hi Keith

just tried the Logitech site, downloaded a driver detector, and was offered a new driver for $29.95 Crying or Very sad

I think a new mouse would be cheaper Laughing they only offered a PS2 compatible driver anyway

Hi Geoff

I think your in the wrong part of the logitech web site. All driver downloads are free. Try having a look at this .....

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/&cl=gb,en

you enter your model number in the box and it takes you through the download process after selecting your operating system. I just tried it but don't know your mouse model number.

We have a logitech mouse here at work and I have done this for that machine with no cost.

Hope that helps

Keith

Hi

You mention the buttons not working properly but i assume the movement is ok, i.e. the pointer moves around the screen etc, if you are considering buying a new mouse then it couldn't hurt to open the mouse and get under the button contacts etc with a cotton bud, remove any dead skin, fluff, crud etc. usually with a ball type mouse it's the ball rollers that get dirty first, however if yours is optical or laser then the buttons will probably be effected first. i remember many many years ago working in a grammar school and cleaning mice was a pet hate of mine.
