What will be the best way round from Sevenoaks to the M1?

Yes, I know it's a crazy day to travel, but the only choice I have is to go early.

I'm only going to Milton Keynes, but apparenly it's compulsory to join in with the holiday spirit, & jam.

My feeling is Dartford rather than Heathrow/M3/M4 junctions........ but I'm not a regular 25 user so could be wrong.

All advice welcome

Thxs

Very Happy Hi Hedge. I would have thought the Dartford route was the most obvious choice? You have a shorter journey surely form Sevenoaks than clock wise around the M25? The Heathrow route can certainly add a lot of time to any journey. Wink

Yeah but how early is early. There's no problem with the M25 on Saturday and Sunday morning, can get a bit iffy Sunday afternoons, but it's weekdays that are the problem.

Or is it a holiday weekend and I'm missing something?

Most sprogs are let out this week I believe
Why they are not kept in skool all summer when there is no need to heat the places I shall never understand.
(Boarding school should be compulsory; would cut down on traffic & pollution)
Sorry, off topic

Very early if needs be; but who has a crystal ball?

It's just that being retired I think I should be exempt traffic jams (& just about everything else).

PS Dartford it is then.

If we had the camper with us we would be travelling in the night & staying outside our destination. Great vehicles campers.

You mean you haven't and aren't? It's what they were made for.

Indeed it is what they were made for John.

It's not our normal style for sure.

However this trip is proving good for the soul.
