Does anyone know of a good site suitable for children (whatever that means) that is within walking access to the West Somerset Railway? Even better, it should be within walking distance of a beach or horse riding. Oh yes, it mustn't get too crowded. And .......

There's a site (commercial, mostly fixed units)t Blue Anchor, just behind the sea wall and next to the railway, about 1/4 mile from blue anchor station. Not sure what it's like, parked outside it in early July. Blue anchor beach is rocky, but you can walk a bit nearer to Minehead to find some sand. Tide goes out for miles....
Not sure whether butlins have touring units in nowadays? This is of course just down the road from the terminus at Minehead.
