HI,
I have seen the following on Amazon, and it has good user ratings.

Thomson Indoor TV Aerial for Digital Freeview - Amplified portable Antenna DVB-T HD Ready - UHF, VHF, FM, DAB, DVB with powered Booster

We are currently purchasing our first van, and only really wanted a 19" tv with dvd, so if we need to we can watch a dvd.
This indoor aeriel is priced at £15, seems to be a good deal if we want to catch up on the news etc.
Couple of Q's:
Has anyone tried it?
Will it work in France?
Will it work at all? LOL
It seems to good to be true
any opinions
thanks
terry

In my opinion not only are internal aerials a waste of time but so are the standard ones fitted onto the roof of motorhomes.

I would go for a cheap satellite set up
You can get the suitcase types for around £70
Bit fiddly to get the hang of but once you master it you get a cracking picture.
Even got BBC near French Swiss border

Definitely forget the indoor aerial but if the van is fitted with an aerial for the reception of terrestial television I would try it first but if you want UK channels on the Continent you will need a satellite dish and receiver.

Hi Andy - don't know if this helps but we bought the Avtex arieal - you can use it inside and outside the van - needs 12v - We think it is brilliant - though expensive maybe about £30 +
