It was the summer hols when we were there so we escaped the kids! I remember though a funny story in Brittany in June. We were a bit fed up of being surrounded by vans and found this lovely little hamlet a few miles inland from the south coast. They had a small car park next to a school and it had a camping car sign on it so we stopped there Sunday and Monday night. There was nobody around and we scootered about to the coast and explored. On the monday morning I got up and wizzed off on the bike to find breakfast. On my return the van and surrounding streets were completely gridlocked with parents on the school run. It was so busy I couldnt get back to the van! I abandoned the bike and squeezed my way through to find Mrs D hiding at the back of the van. It was bedlam for about half an hour and then they all vanished.
