Thanks for the replies.

Boff that's very useful info thank you. The info ref the Waalsland Tunnel was on some other camping site but if it sends me into the Centre I'll forget it, thanks.

It looks like the Kennedy Tunnel off peak then.

I've been that way before in 1977 - 82 on route home from Germany. Suspect things have changed a bit since them though!!!!

Thanks again.

I used to do this trip every month in the motorhome to visit a supplier On the Dutch border, Breda...
It's no great problem, stick following the main route signs with the tunnel and as already stated just avoid the peak rush hour....
No worse than the M25 or here on the M6 Jn 10 ... Sad

We lived in Belgium for two separate periods of 2 years, one of them near the Kennedy Tunnel. The trick was always to keep your own traffic discipline rules, plenty of space behind the vehicle in front to allow for lane hoppers. and to make sure you're in the right/correct lane for your destination not necessarily the inside one which is usually only for the next exit. The local traffic will overtake on both sides but the traffic discipline is usually pretty good despite that. If you trust your navigator (human variety) to do that you'll be okay. It's not as bad as the Paris Peripherique and the traffic flow is usually pretty good even in rush hour.
