Cracking pic, StAubyns. The Reds did one of these right over our heads on the C&CC rally site at Fairford last year. Brilliant stuff - have already booked again for this year and if anyone else fancies the same they'd better be quick as it fills up very quickly.

As a side note, I think that photo will have been done by someone affiliated with the Red Arrows.

My friend at work is a pilot and when the Red Arrows were near his base airport (Durham-Tees) they were given an exclusion area 6 miles wide or something to avoid as the Red Arrows were up for Sunderland Airshow.

Every time that the Red Arrows fly a display in the east of England they use the airport (NR Norwich International) near us for refuels and R & R, upon arrival and departure we get a demonstration of their display or a practise run. Happened about midday and about an hour or two later on 10-12 occasions last year.

I've had them bombing me all day today - Scampton is 3 miles from where I work. Smile It was nice to see them back for about 5 minutes, then wished they'd go back to Cyprus as I had to stick my finger in my ear whilst on the phone for an hour. Sad

Dougie.
