Sounds like a problem with the aerial or coax cable.

Humax are rolling out a software update for the 9200 at the moment. Once you get the signal back, you can force it to seek the update and then do a set to default. When it's finished all that, power the unit down for a few moments.

Most problems with the 9200 freezing or not responding are solved by doing a hard reboot (power off then on) and then setting it back to default (via the menus - password is 0000).

It took me ages to get this info out of Humax but it seems to work. My machine did the software update last night but I've not noticed any new features so maybe they've just fixed problems.

Good luck with getting yours running again.

The OTA update seems to be the solution to the long running slow remote problem on the 9200 - working fine since - well done Humax.

Now............................any news on the new HD freeview PVR Gerry?

I was hoping you had one on trial and may be able to give some feedback by now Cool .

Ive got me pennys saved up ready and waiting Wink .

There are serious supply problems with Freeview HD units at present. It seems that most of the major TV manufacturers have hit the market with HD built in TVs and as the only supplier of chips is Sony they are in short supply. Currently, the Humax PVR has been delayed. No date given.
