Is there a way to make a tiny movie using some free software.

IE a series of photos, playing one after the other very quickly to give the illusion of it being filmed.

Microsoft have a free download called photostory which allows you to add photos and zoom in/out and alter the time they are on the screen which makes them look quite presentable. I use it quite a lot combined with my camcorder videos.

Thanks terry,

I already have that and it a good presentation tool, but it doesn't make movies.

I need it to flick through much faster, I heard of a program a while back but can't remeber its name.

Create an animated gif Kev.

That's how your avatar works and that looks pretty smooth.

Kev,

What you really want is a Mac!

You can achieve exactly what you want to do with iDVD. It allows you to choose a theme then select content from your photo, music and movie libraries.
Alternatively, if you already have a slideshow with music that you have created in iPhoto, you can export it into iDVD and go from there.

I realise this is no help to you at the moment, but if you are thinking of getting a new PC at some point in future - don't - get a Mac.

The link below takes you to the Apple demo of iLife - the suite that contains iPhoto / iDVD / iTunes etc. and comes included with every Mac.

OK clever clogs, Where can I download a free program which will let me animate photos as gifs.

Falco is a drawing program and no use to me.
